Welcome to new and current parents!
The Parents Representative Group (PRG) would like to extend a warm welcome to new families who have joined our school community over the last term and to prospective parents who would like to talk to parents of students currently studying at Regents.
Our school community is very diverse and made up of many nationalities and we try to reflect this on the PRG by representing as many groups as possible. With this in mind we have a register where there is a PRG representative for every year level throughout the school as a point of contact for families, in particular new families to our community.
Due to the transient nature of our population we are always looking for new members and kindly invite you to join us so we can truly represent the many nationalities that make up our community.
About Us and How to Join
Several years ago, the administrators of The Regent’s School Pattaya approved the formation of the PRG: Parents Representative Group. Everyone involved in that decision believed that this group would strengthen the relationship between parents and the school through opening the lines of communication between parents and school.
As part of the Regents community, the members of the PRG work together to provide a communication link between parents, teachers, and administrators. Through monthly meetings, we provide the parent community an opportunity to gather and voice concerns and opinions, ask questions, and suggest possible changes or improvements. These meetings allow parents to gather and discuss in a meaningful way those issues that are incredibly relevant to our children. In general, attending these meetings will allow parents to increase their knowledge about the countless happenings at the school as well as provide a network of fellow parents to support each other.
We invite you to attend these monthly meetings and become an active PRG member. You will have the opportunity to discuss those issues that affect the academic, social, and emotional well being of your children and demonstrate to your children that you believe in the importance of their education and value the efforts that are put forth to enhance their overall educational experience. This united effort, joining the parent community with the school administrators, truly emphasizes the amazing overall experience of being part of The Regent’s School Pattaya.
Please come and join us. Our doors are always open.
